E nle o! I’m Ayoka and I’m excited to share this journey that led me to create Kin Blazin Skin Care. It all started with curiosity and boredom. During the pandemic in 2020 I was home and isolated, just like everyone else in the world at that time. It was then I stumbled across a few Instagram pages, displaying, what look like desserts. It was to my surprise the items were bars of soap, that only resembled desserts. It sparked such interest in me that I began taking online classes and learning from tutorials on how to make homemade soaps. When I finally came to the point of what I wanted to name my business, I decided that I wanted to make a powerful statement and produce a name that could live forever. I wanted to dedicate this journey to my family. I thought of the resilience of my grandmother, Barbara Ann Blaze, paired with the determination of my grandfather, Leroy King Mobley Sr. Which led me to the name KIN BLAZIN. I wanted all the people that I love dearly, who were no longer here physically, to live on forever. Kin Blazin was the outcome because it became befitting for my family, my Kin to continue to Blaze forward through the efforts of my own passion just seem to fit. May we all continue to remember our love ones and always have gratitude for their love.
